According to Mariana Rodela,
I am a Mexican American interdisciplinary artist working predominantly with sculpture, found objects, and performance. My work explores ideas surrounding adolescence, adulthood, play, and touch. I’m interested in assumed truth, assumed behavior, reindoctrination, restructuring, re-teaching, and discomforting. I graduated from the University of California Riverside in 2021 with a BA in Studio Art and Art History. Currently, I am a MFA student at the University of California Santa Barbara.
