Learn about their projects and the ongoing problems of representation in the art world.  Co-sponsored by the Department of Art and College of Creative Studies Colloquium + Curatorial Conversations. No RSVP or ticket required, free, but plan arriving early.

Art 1A Extra Credit Assignment: Attend the Guerrilla Girls lecture and write a 2-page response. Due on Wednesday, December 6 in class.

Art 1A Visual Literacy Extra Credit Assignment for Winter 2016

The Assignment:

Visit the AD&A Museum UC Santa Barbara and the Glass Box Gallery, both located on campus in the Arts Building, and spend some time experiencing the exhibitions. Please Tweet pictures and short responses about the works that interest you, and then write a short response paper (Approximately 2 pages total).
